Crispy Snacking Peas

Air fryer prep makes this wholesome, seasoned pea snack easy to make and enjoy!
2 cans (15.25 oz. each) Del Monte® Tender Petites® Sweet Peas, well drained in a colander
2 tsp. olive oil
Seasonings of choice (see options below)
Seasoning Options: Amounts are for 2 cans of peas.
Smoked Paprika: 1 tsp. smoked paprika + 1/2 tsp. kosher salt + 1/4 tsp. garlic powder + 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Garlic Parmesan: 1/4 tsp. garlic powder + 1/2 tsp. black pepper + 1/4 tsp. kosher salt. After cooking, toss hot cooked peas with 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan.
Salt & Vinegar: 1 tsp. rice wine vinegar + 1/4 tsp. garlic powder + 1/2 tsp. kosher salt + 1/4 tsp. black pepper • Tajin: 1 1/2 tsp. Tajin + 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Place peas on a clean kitchen towel and lightly pat dry with paper towels. Toss peas with 1 Tbsp. oil and choice of seasonings (listed below) in a medium bowl.
AIR FRYER: Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Pour peas into air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 15 minutes, shaking every 5 minutes until browned and crispy.
OVEN: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Pour peas onto a parchment paper-lined large, rimmed baking sheet and spread out. Bake 30 to 35 minutes, shaking every 5 to 10 minutes, until the peas are crispy and browned in areas.
TIP: For small air fryers, make 1 can of peas. Prepare as recipe directs except reduce oil to 1 tsp. and halve the seasonings. Cook 10 minutes, shaking after 5 minutes. Makes 3/4 cup.
