Ingredients

1 lb.  Italian Sausage

2 Cloves Garlic, minced

1 cup yellow onion, chopped

1 Jar Del Monte Fresh Cut Sliced Mushrooms, drained

1 ¼ cup heavy cream

2 cups pasta, cooked

½ cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated

½ cup fresh basil

Directions

  1. Boil pasta according to box directions, drain and set aside. In a medium pan over medium-high heat, cook sausage until browned and broken down. Stir in garlic, yellow onion and cook until onion is softened and translucent.

  2. Add in 1 jar of Jar Del Monte Fresh Cut Sliced Mushrooms, drained of water and cook until mushrooms begin to brown. Pour in heavy cream and cooked pasta and stir until evenly mixed. Cook down for about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Top with Parmesan cheese, and place in the oven at 350 F until the cheese is melted and browned. Top with fresh basil and serve.
