One-Pan Creamy Asparagus Linguine
Alfredo-style pasta is easier than ever to make at home with the one-pot, no-drain pasta method.
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 fully cooked Italian sausages (6 oz.), sliced or 1 cup cubed cooked ham
3 green onions, sliced, divided
8 oz. uncooked linguine, broken in half
4 oz. cream cheese, cubed
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 can (15 oz.) Del Monte® Extra Long Asparagus Spears, drained and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 large tomato, diced
Heat oil in a large deep skillet. Brown sausage with half of onions. Add 3 3/4 cups water; bring to a boil. Stir in pasta; simmer on medium-high heat according to pasta package directions, stirring to prevent sticking. DO NOT DRAIN.
Remove from heat; stir in cheeses until melted.
Stir in tomato and remaining onions; fold in asparagus. Thin sauce with water, if needed. Season to taste with black pepper.
