Ingredients

2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

1 Tbsp. minced garlic (3 large cloves)

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup long grain white rice

1 can (14.5 oz.) Del Monte® Southern Style Whole Green Beans, not drained

1/3 cup chopped fresh dill or parsley

Chopped toasted pecans, optional

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and salt; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Add rice and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  2. Shake green bean can before opening; add contents of can and 1 cup water to saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 to 17 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed. Remove from heat. Partially cover and let stand 3 to 5 minutes for flavors to meld. Stir in dill and top with pecans before serving.
