Pear Crostini
This sweet and simple snack has the perfect pairing of pears and ricotta- topped with basil and a drizzle of honey. Perfect for easy entertaining as a light and crunchy appetizer.
1 baguette
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Flaky sea salt
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 can (14.5 oz) Del Monte No Sugar Added Sliced Pears
Basil, for garnish
Honey, for drizzling
Preheat oven to 450 degrees fahrenheit.
Slice baguette into diagonally into ½ inch slices. Arrange the bread slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Brush each piece of bread with olive oil on both sides. Bake for about 7 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt to taste.
Top each toast with a small spoonful of ricotta, one piece Sliced Pears, and basil. Drizzle with honey and serve!
