Last year, we worked with more than 500 family farms to deliver more than 517,000 tons of vegetables across the United States. It all starts with a seed that is carefully cultivated using traditional breeding methods. No GMOs here - just 130 years of patience and farmer know-how. These superior seeds are then shared with each of the over 500 partner growers. Many are third-, fourth-, and fifth-generation farms, some of which we've been working with for more than 100 years. 95% of the vegetables grown on these farms will travel less than 75 miles to canning facilities - meaning all vegetables are picked and packed within hours. The goal is to try to lock in freshness as soon as humanly possible.
