Ronnie Hutkowski started working on a home farm for a Del Monte grower out of high school in 1985; today he is the proud owner of that same farm. He has continued the tradition of the farm in growing for Del Monte because Del Monte has a reputation for quality. For Ronnie, Del Monte affords him the opportunity to do what he loves– farming and feeding the world. He’s proud to own the first piece of property in the state to have put a pierce irrigation system put up over 40 years ago and to continuously employ evolving technologies and practices to his farming methods. Ronnie strives to practice minimum tillage, and plants crop over crop, putting organic matter and nutrients back into the soil making for healthier crops for the following year.  

When Ronnie is not in the field, he loves hunt, fish, camp, and ride snow mobiles and ATVs.
