Parmesan Herb Green Beans
Perfectly delicious, these lightly browned green beans, tossed with oregano and Parmesan cheese, are a versatile and simple side dish.
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cans (14.5 oz. each) Del Monte® Cut or French Style Green Beans, well-drained
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, optional
3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat; add beans and spread out in pan. Cook 3 minutes without stirring. Reduce heat to medium and cook 3 to 4 minutes more minutes until lightly browned in spots, stirring occasionally.
Add oregano and cook about 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; season lightly with salt and pepper, if desired. Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
