6 cups mixed salad greens [or chopped Romaine]

½ cup bottled reduced-fat or regular blue cheese salad dressing

1¼ cups sliced cooked chicken

1 yellow or green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 can (15oz.) Del Monte® Lite Sliced Pears, drained

chopped walnuts, toasted, optional

¼ cup (1oz.) crumbled blue cheese, optional

Coarsely ground black pepper, optional


  1. Arrange greens equally on 4 dinner plates.

  2. Spoon equal amounts of dressing evenly over greens.

  3. Top with chicken, bell pepper and pears. Sprinkle evenly with walnuts, blue cheese and black pepper, if desired.
