Mock Mandarin-Blackberry Sangria

Not too sweet, this colorful drink refreshes with lots of juicy, delicious fruit.

Ingredients

2 cans (15oz. each) Del Monte® Mandarin Oranges in Light Syrup, not drained

1 pint fresh blackberries

2 limes, sliced

8 sprigs fresh rosemary, divided, plus more for garnish

3 1/2 cups ginger ale

Directions
  1. Combine oranges, orange syrup, berries, limes and 4 rosemary sprigs in a large pitcher.
  2. Stir gently and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
  3. Remove rosemary and replace with reserved 4 rosemary sprigs. Add ginger ale and serve over ice, if desired. Garnish with additional rosemary.

 

VARIATION: To make Mandarin-Blackberry Sangria, prepare as recipe directs, except omit ginger ale and add 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled white wine.  Chill overnight for best flavor.
