Ingredients

2 whole grain bagels, halved

¾ cup pizza sauce

1 can (8.25oz.) Del Monte® Sliced Carrots, drained

1 cup shredded low fat mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler.

  2. Place bagel halves on a broiler pan. Broil 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on each side, watching closely not to burn. Remove from broiler.

  3. Spread 3 Tbsp. pizza sauce evenly over each bagel half. Arrange carrots over sauce and sprinkle evenly with cheese.

  4. Broil 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.

 

NOTE: To prepare in a toaster oven, lightly toast bagel halves, then bake topped bagels on low until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
