Peas and Sweet Pepper Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz.) Del Monte® Sweet Peas-No Salt Added, drained
  • 4 oz. dried spiral pasta
  • 2 small orange, red, yellow and/or green sweet peppers, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill weed or basil, or 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed or basil, crushed
  • (Optional) black pepper

Cooking Directions

1. Cook pasta according to package directions omitting salt; drain.
2. Meanwhile, cook and stir pepper strips in hot oil in large skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Carefully stir in water, lemon juice and bouillon granules.
3. Stir pasta, peas and herb into skillet; toss to coat. Season to taste with black pepper, if desired.
