Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Del Monte® Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic and Oregano-No Salt Added
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • 3/4 cup italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 medium green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese

Cooking Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Drain tomatoes, reserving 1/3 cup of liquid.
3. Combine reserved liquid with remaining ingredients, except cheese, in large bowl.
4. Shape into four 1-inch think patties and place on baking sheet. Top with cheese.
5. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes or until done.
