Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Del Monte® Original Recipe Stewed Tomatoes
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Del Monte® Peas and Carrots, drained
  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup dried elbow macaroni
  • 1-1/2 cups (6 oz.) shredded low-fat cheddar cheese

Cooking Directions

1. Brown beef and onion in large skillet; drain.
2. Add undrained tomatoes and 1 cup water; bring to boil.
3. Stir in macaroni. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, 10 minutes or until macaroni is done, stirring once.
4. Stir in peas & carrots and cheese; heat through.
