Living a healthy lifestyle is more than just cutting calories to lose weight or taking the stairs. It is about paying attention to the benefits individual foods and nutrients provide for our body. Add just one more serving (just half a cup) of fruit, vegetables and tomatoes daily to your diet. Many types of fruits, vegetables and tomatoes are rich in antioxidants and nutrients that have been shown to reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease.

Power-Up Your Pantry

Stock your pantry with a variety of fruits, vegetables and tomato products so you have foods for nutritious cooking readily available to create a great meal.

Get in Shape: Up, Get Out and Get Moving

Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park your car further away from the office, mall or grocery store. Or take a 20-minute walk during lunch. Even small bursts of activity will help with how to get in shape.
