San Francisco, CA

San Francisco, CA: Corporate Headquarters

Corporate Headquarters

Del Monte Foods corporate headquarters have always been in San Francisco. In fact, the city itself could well be considered a living history museum of former company locations. The popular Cannery complex of shops near Fisherman's Wharf was once a Del Monte Foods fruit processing plant. The square-rigged Balclutha sailing vessel berthed at the Maritime Museum was part of Del Monte Foods "Star Fleet" when the Company was in the seafood business.

In 2000, Del Monte Foods moved its corporate staff out of a high rise and into the newly renovated 85-year-old Southern Pacific building at the foot of Market Street, just steps away from the recently refurbished Ferry Building Marketplace. Appropriately renamed "The Landmark," the new offices sit diagonally across the street from Del Monte Foods very first headquarters location and within earshot of cable car bells.
